That is something I have experienced with my own kids, they are so into their own stuff that everything I do is just boring to them. That was actually one of the main motivators for me to play swat again, to show them the game and try to relate to them because gaming is their whole life. I gave up gaming years ago so they were shocked to see me playing a game.
TV in the USA has become so terrible, right now I am watching the new season of squid game and it blows my mind how hollywood can't make anything decent yet this Korean studio is making such an excellent series. Some of my favorite shows growing up were Canadian productions such as You Can't Do That on Television, SCTV and War of the Worlds. Oh yeah also loved Tom Green but by the time I started watching him he was on MTV so not sure if that counts lol.
