I’ll be honest.I’m a bit fed up waiting to come onto an old forum hoping someone’s posted.
Times have moved on!
There are easier, faster ways for us to actually talk now and isn’t that what this is all about?The forum matters and always will. It’s the archive and the home.
But conversation is what keeps a community alive.So I’m setting up a small WhatsApp group to help get people communicating again in real time.
Nothing formal. Not a replacement. Just a simple way to talk, share ideas, screenshots, and get some life back into things.If it works, great. If not, nothing lost.
If the admin of the site doesn’t see this as beneficial because it feels like letting go of years of work — something that was his baby, and something I personally had input in too (including developing the Neuwon servers back in the day) — then honestly, that’s just sad.Because the point was never the forum itself.
