NuWon website back online

Interesting development.   Every few months I check to see if NuWon is back online and I was very happy to see it up today.

You get a warning that the certificate isn't correct but the website is online.

Perhaps it isn't dead after all.

Sorry, ya I meant just the main website is online.

The Swat 3 game server is offline still right now.

I keep trying to contact the owner of NeuWon because I am not sure how far he got on updating how we register and login to the Swat 3 server. He was trying to make it so everyone had a unique CD key (even if it was generated by NeuWon).

Today I will try to update the Swat 3 server's operating system and see if I can get it running for this weekend (that is if it will register with the main NeuWon server).

I updated the operating system but sadly it looks like NeuWon has a firewall blocking their servers.   He probably still hasn't fully re-configured everything.

Edit:   I see that the domain name for NuWon is up for renewal on 2023-07-27.   If he renews it in July then we will know if we can expect it to be around in the future.

Follow up:

Just noticed nuwon.net is back up but it looks like neuwon.com isn't.

This is just the website.  I don't think the gaming network is back up since it used the neuwon.com domain name.

Any chance that we'll have proper multiplayer via Neuwon in the near future? I've seen some unclear hints on swat3 reunion main page...
