Working on getting the next update ready for Last Resort and then we can test it on the Nuwon server.
Got the domain changes to the game executables done for multiplayer to work and also the nuWon logo changes in the graphics. Just have to add in all the new LA City Hall textures (Mission S) into the mod and package it all up.

For me this is the most exciting news since the release of Medal of Honor Warfighter in 2012.

- Textures done
- LR Launcher updated
- Game server updated in terms of Windows.
Just waiting to see if my son completes the SCN editor updates in time for me to fix the City Hall roof door glass bullet hits.
Either way getting much closer.
Mission S (City Hall) will be 95% with the exception of a few more replacement .TGA graphics of things like books and papers on the floor.

I recall reading on your Bluesky account that the skybox is also going to be replaced. Just FYI, there's a story/plot reason for it to be dark as it is in the original game; the mission takes place during a major blackout in downtown LA, so this is why the devs made the skybox dark. A new skybox with lighted buildings all around would break the mood of the campaign mission.Mission S (City Hall) will be 95% with the exception of a few more replacement .TGA graphics of things like books and papers on the floor.

What is funny is that a nagging part of my brain was saying to double check this in story mode. It didn't make sense why the skybox was so dark in terms of the buildings.
That part of my brain kept trying to get me to check but the other part fell in love with how I brought the skybox to life with the city lights. I just never got around to checking it even though the voice kept trying to remind me.
Thanks for reminding me and saving me from this mistake! In my Photoshop file of the skybox I have the new city lights as extra layers so all I need do is re-export it with these layers turned off.
Swat 3 seems to re-use a lot of the same night skyboxes so hopefully the city lights version can be used elsewhere.
Additional nerd note: the game sadly hates textures that have gradation in them and prefers 8 bit textures of just 256 colours. The version of the skybox with the city lights looked great in 24-bit colours but looked bad when I tried to down convert to 8-bit colours.
Turning off these city lights may actually help me with trying to squish it down to 8-bit colours.
