In the LR Folder, put your exe files there, 800x600, 1024x768 etc....
When someone clicks in the LR launcher what size they would like to play, the LR launcher copies the original swat.exe to the backup folder, then copies the 800x600 (or whatever aspect ratio they choose) to the main swat3 folder, and then renames it to swat3.exe.
Pretty simple fix. And when the LR mod through Launcher is turned off, then it will delete the swat3.exe (which it copied and renamed), then put the original swat3.exe file back in the main folder from the backups. Same thing you are doing with the swat.ini file.
VOILA!!

The "Swat.ini" file gets modified every time you run the launcher (as long as you don't click "Cancel and Quite".
As for renaming the .exe the only problem with that is some anti-virus software will detect the change in the executable. This of course though is the easiest solution without some fancy coding.
The other option that I was considering was making it so you only downloaded and installed the resolution you wanted and used. Really I don't see people changing resolutions a lot. They will only use the resolution closest to their monitor's native resolution.

It wasn't until I looked into your 800x600 exe file that I noticed you changed it in there to M3NU. So all I had to do was change my menu.dat to M3NU.dat in my mod and my main menu took over. This will allow me in the future to create menus for it (Which I have already started working on one).
May I ask what you are working on? It actually kinda depresses me that you are modifying the Last Resort stuff rather than working on your own original creations. I don't mean to offend you but it depresses me that after working on this project for 5 years people just want to modify it because they aren't happy with what I have done, lol.
It is great that you are inspired to work on Swat 3 stuff but out of all the areas you could have explored you had to pick this one

On a side note, it takes a lot to offend me lol
I'm just happy we were able to pin point the issue on the frame rates.

If someone has better ideas on how to implement something I am always open to it. I know I am not the best programmer, graphics designer, mod maker, etc. so I am open to help, feedback, complaints.
If people would prefer that I not use m3nu.dat for instance I won't. I just figured nobody cared since the game is so old and nobody would be bothered making menu mods, lol. If you plan on making your own custom high resolution menu mod I can accommodate you and go back to menu.dat in the executables.
