Further conversion says that is 5.14 miles lol. According to the internet:
You may have cranked it up a little too much
The edge of the Earth (as it curves) is about 3 miles from viewing point to the edge. Ever stare out at the ocean? The farthest point you can see is about 3 miles out.

Yeah it probably doesn't need to be more than 4000, although I haven't yet determined what value is needed to show the entire grid.

Just noticed a problem with our existing double draw distance hack.
The airplane in Abandoned mission is now visible in the sky waiting to be triggered. Normally the airplane is out of the view distance so it can't be seen until triggered. Once triggered the airplane swings down into view (I suspect the plane is really a door that has a huge hinge point).
What is interesting is that if you look at it directly (from where I am standing in the screenshot that I attached below) you can't see the plane. You have to look down a little (notice my reticle). Is the view distance a square or rectangle?
